The Dreamy Island of Saffron

It’s been a while since I’ve last toured someone’s island via AC:NH’s dream suite feature so I thought I’d check out the dreamy island of Saffron created by TiredMushroom, the co-owner of a Discord server that I’m in! TiredMushroom is a talented creator that uploads long-play styled content over on her YouTube channel so if you’re interested in watching some cozy longform content without any commentary to unwind after a long day, defintely go and check her content out!

Some notes about Saffron:

Most villager homes are decorated

My house is some what decorated (not the basement LMAO)

There’s villager portraits hidden around the island!

The first thing I usually check out whenever dreaming of an island is view the island’s map. I love how this island has a lot of waterspacing that still gives the island a river! The waterscaping is defintely inspirational for my own island, for sure. I want to make a river quite similar to theirs and make it function more around my island.

This time, I didn’t start off by the island’s airport as I was immediately intrigued by the cute overdose of pink absolutely everywhere. Pink is my favourite colour so I was having a blast exploring every nook and cranny around the her island.

The island rep’s name is Katelynn with lots of cute villagers— Merengue, Cherve, Flurry, Diana, Lucy, Marina, Gayle, Norma, Gala and Genji.

Nearby to resident services is stepping stones that you can dump across to reach a secluded beach which is a very cute addition that makes exploring super fun!

Nearby to the stepping stones is where Diana lives, all of the villagers on this island have such cute decorated yards and inside of their homes are redecorated too! All of their homes feel like they match their vibe and personality so well. 🙂

The island’s campsite is nearby to Diana’s home too so I checked that out whilst I was in the area. I’d absolutely love to camp here if I was ever visiting Saffron. 🙂

I love how there’s a cute little pink gyroid vibing next to the campfire, so cute! There’s a cozy little hammock to rest your head if you want to lie beneath the stars at nighttime or sunbathe under the warm sun’s rays during the daytime. ❤

If we head north of Diana’s home we come across an this little cute gardening area with a diverse variety of pink and white flowers growing here.

The nearby incline takes us up to more villager homes where Lucy, Norma and another villager lives. Not everyone was inside of their homes unfortantely so I couldn’t see how TiredMushroom decorated inside of their homes but I’m sure it would be beautifully decorated and perfect to match their vibe and personality. 🙂

Inside of Lucy’s home is SO beautifully decorated! 😮 I wasn’t expecting such a regal expensive looking interior for the inside of her home but it suits her so well!

Norma’s yard is an adorable cute little farm where she is growing wheat. 🙂

The inside of Norma’s home is adorable too, it’s a very cozy ranch. Again, defintely fits Norma’s personality and vibe as a whole! ❤

She has a cute little lookout area just a few steps away from her yard too where she can overlook and see the sea and the horizon that is being illuminated by the island’s lighthouse. 🙂 The island’s secret beach is nearby too!

Back nearby to residental services is the shopping district of Nook’s Cranny and Able Sisters together, I adore how beautifully decorated this is!

Just below the shopping district is a cute bakery that I assume Merengue runs. This bakery is perfect to dine at if you have a sweet tooth, the afternoon tea set looks delicious. 🙂

There’s a picnic local to the bakery and the shopping district too! It’s super cozy for resting your feet after spending a while browsing at the stores. 🙂

I found Katelynn, the island rep walking around nearby. I love how cozy and cute her outfit is!

The hair ribbon wig is defintely one of my favourite AC:NH wigs, it’s such a cute hairstyle! I wish there was pastel varients of the ribbon on the back or in the future ways to customise that sorta stuff, yknow? Hopefully Nintendo in the future can maybe add more customisation into that sorta stuff. 🙂

I stumbled upon a beautiful cherry blossoms forest with a rock garden with a cozy cabin looking house in the heart of it which must be TiredMushroom’s house. 🙂

She specified on her message sharing their dream address that the house is mostly decorated apart from the basement that she didn’t decorate so I didn’t explore that room.

The main room of her house feels like you’re in the heart of the cherry blossom forest outside of the cabin which is such a cute idea! I’m guessing that TiredMushroom’s island rep or herself really likes nature and/or gardening as a hobby. 🙂

The right room is this beautiful greenhouse! I would love to curl up on that chair and read a book in here or drink tea during the day in this room!! ❤

The left room is the complete opposite of that cozy greenhouse room with a gyroid nightclub where they’re all dancing on the dancefloor. I couldn’t help but join in! 😀

The top room is a cozy quiet kitchen with a freshly baked yule roll left to cool down on the dining table that I couldn’t help but wanting to take a bite from!

And upstairs is a celestial inspired bedroom. I really love how this corner where her bed is feels more tailored towards Mushroom’s interests like sanrio, stuffed plushies and an incense stick for a more relaxed environment to fall asleep in. 🙂

If you venture past the cherry blossom forest you’ll stumble across this breathtaking view of waterfalls! 😮

Just beyond that horizon is where the island’s museum is located which has an elegant entrance which I really liked! To the left of that area is where 3 more villager residents of Saffron live in their own little secluded area which is super cute.

Only Cherve was inside of her home when I visited this area. Again, the inside of her home matches her so well!

I love how she has a little photo of Nan on her wall above her bed, such a cute addition and attention to detail! 🥺

There is also tiny little portraits of Saffron’s villagers hidden around the island that I spotted, here’s one of Merengue.

I think I spotted above 5/6 of them whilst looking around Saffron. I’ll defintely have to revisit in the future and try and find them all!

Whilst making my way back towards residental services I came across Marina’s home and Flurry’s home too! Marina owns a crab shack however she wasn’t in so I couldn’t check it out.

Flurry was home though! I like how her yard is quite simple and tidy.

I wasn’t expecting her home to look this way either to be honest! I was expecting more of a wintery cozy warm home but her new home interior fits her well! ❤

I came across the island entrance too before heading back to residental services, I really like how cute this is!

I really love how Mushroom has introduced lots of strawberries around the island in some sort of way too, like by the entrance of her island is a cute little cart of strawberry jam. The little sprinkles of strawberries everywhere in Saffron is such a cute little addition. ❤
